Each project requires specific attention and solutions. Up-to-date knowledge of building technology, regulations and project management are very important here. GB has been providing advice on frame, element and cavity anchoring for years. We have built up our knowledge since 1881 and we are happy to share it. Besides advice, we also offer various useful tools and training courses.

GB Advisory Tool

Do you want to quickly make an informed selection of suitable materials for frame or element anchoring yourself? You can easily do this with the GB Advisory Tool. By entering a few details about your project, you determine which anchors are needed for mounting window frames and prefabricated façade elements. The tool allows you to choose the right fasteners from various other well-known brands in addition to GB products. The GB Advisory Tool then provides you a clear report that can be included in your construction administration. Ideal for meeting documentation requirements under the WKB.

Cavity anchor advice

Choosing the right cavity wall anchoring system is not easy. This is because this structural component of the cavity wall must maintain its function for the structure. Which type of cavity anchor is used depends on the design of the building, the building materials used, the cavity width, the type of insulation material and the wind load. GB produces project-specific cavity anchor plans that include custom-written advice on the right type of cavity anchor. Calculations and advice are given according to Eurocode 6.

GB's product range now comprises more than 3,400 products. All of them serve a specific and often essential purpose within a building structure. Developments in the construction sector do not stand still and neither do we. For instance, we are faced with new construction methods, alternative building materials and stricter regulations. We also believe that things can always be done better and smarter, which is why the development of our product range and services is a continuous process. Because continuing to learn and improve helps to build more safely and efficiently.

Digital drawing with GB

GB has a product package for (HSB) element anchoring in Tekla Warehouse. Users of the Tekla software can therefore easily download GB models and place them in their BIM drawing environment. The package consists of several anchoring systems in different sizes including Floor HSB strips, F-anchors, XL corner anchors and XS corner anchors. The files can be imported as separate items. Associated with such an item is a file that automatically sets default properties and user attributes. This provides additional convenience when processing the data.
