As a Coordinator of Technology & Development at Gebr. Bodegraven in Nieuwkoop, you support the technical backbone of the organization and bring structure to the construction-related departments. • Handle technical advisory requests from contractors.
• Manage the administrative processing of these advisories and monitor follow-up.
• Contribute to improving internal technical processes and efficiency.
• Manage and coordinate certification processes and structure documentation flows.
• Act as a sparring partner for both internal and external teams on practical issues.
• Assist in developing calculation tools and contribute ideas for automation.
• Support the Project Leader for Technology & Development and take over tasks where possible.

What do you bring as Coordinator of Technology & Development?

• A higher professional education level (HBO) in work and thinking.
• Preferably a background in construction or civil engineering.
• At least 3 years of relevant work experience.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings.
• Understanding of building structures and the interrelation of (prefabricated) building components.
• Affinity with digitalization and system improvements.

Your focus area includes all provinces south of the Rhine: Zeeland, North Brabant, Limburg, and parts of South Holland and Gelderland.

You advise stakeholders in the construction sector on smart, safe, and technically sound anchoring solutions, making a real difference in the quality of their projects. Thanks to your technical expertise and enthusiastic approach, you know how to build and maintain trust.

You provide advice based on site visits, specifications, and drawings. In doing so, you play an essential role in building and maintaining relationships with construction companies, prefab element manufacturers, and trade partners.

You will work in a team of skilled employees and, together with this team, you will make and maintain follow-cut bending dies and injection moulds. More specifically, you will clean, check, maintain, grind, convert and assemble used and new tools. You will deal with a wide variety of machines and products. Gebr. Bodegraven is looking for a new colleague for production.

Job content
The work involves serial production of products or semi-finished products from strip and wire. The quality of the products is paramount.
The main duties involve setting up, starting up, operating, solving simple faults and stopping wire forming machines, eccentric presses and associated robots and peripheral equipment, so that the production process runs as smoothly as possible and products of the right quality are produced. A technical understanding to operate machines professionally and solve malfunctions is therefore a requirement. Finally, the products are often automatically packed and placed on pallets. The ability (or willingness) to weld is a plus.
